We were up bright and early- 6:30am! We were slow moving but managed to get out of the hotel within about an hour and half. We had a ferry to catch and the car has never been so quiet.

We needed to check in at the ferry at 10:15, and we arrived at 10:13. Cutting it pretty close, but we you were right Chris, we made it! It was a smooth ride across and once we cleared off the unloading ramp we cranked “Bud the Spud” and sang along with Stompin’ Tom at the top of our lungs.

We drove around and toured a lighthouse. We had a fantastic lunch at a little restaurant in a little town.

Our hotel is on the harbour in Charlottetown and it is a beautiful hotel and harbour. We walked along the water, and then up and down a couple of streets taking in the scenery.

Max and Ty met up with my childhood friend Anne. Ty got along with her really well, but Max looks like he is about to get a slate over his head.

We had a 20 minute cat nap because we are all exhausted and needed to rest up for the big night! Its Anne of Green Gables night! The musical was so good! It was Max and Ty’s first time hearing the story and they both loved it. Well, I know for sure Max loved it because he was beside me and I could hear him laughing throughout the play. I wasn’t sure about Ty, and then as soon as the play ended Ty looked at me and said “Two hours and thirty four minutes.” He probably shouldn’t write their commercials.

We returned to our hotel and had pizza delivered to the room. Ty is putting the Ty in tired, and the rest of us aren’t far behind.

There has been lots of talk about what to do tomorrow, but no firm plan. Perhaps a spontaneous day awaits us.

Quote of the Day -“No screaming in restaurants.” Yes- an actual quote, of something we actually needed to say. Grrr.

Song of the Day- Bud the Spud, obviously.

Sign of the day- we really like this sign. It has been in place for 23 years and is still bright red!

P.S. Chris just pre-viewed the blog, and said that my joke about the sign “wasn’t funny at all” and that I am “really weird.” I laughed out loud. Twice! Once when I wrote it and once again when I read it over Chris’s shoulder. Hope you all like my jokes more then Chris did. πŸ™‚
