Hey, This is Max for the day 6 update. We got up around 8 and we got dressed and headed out. We were going to meet Brad, Janice and Tara at their hotel. On the way we saw a Google Maps car. Ooohhhhh.

We had to skip breakfast because we were in such a rush, so we had a Timmies. After that, Brad, Dad, Tyson and I headed out to Oak Island, where they film “The Curse of Oak Island.” The show is about a bunch of people who are looking for treasure, it is on the History Channel.

It wasn’t that fun, there were lots of signs saying no trespassing. We did go to the museum/gift shop. Holy Schmoloy- they had amazing shirts. Could it be? Did I forget my wallet? Oops.

On the drive to Lunenberg, Tyson and I were eating apples in the back seat. I threw my apple core out the window and Tyson attempted to as well. He had to throw his really hard because it had to go across me and into the ditch. Unfortunately, he missed the window and hit the door frame, and then hit my arm rest, and then hit me in both legs and it left apple shrapnel everywhere. It was very funny.

Lunenburg is the home of the Blue Nose, but it was out to sea at a Tall Ship competition in Ohio. I would have paid a dime to see the Blue Nose. Instead of seeing it we went onto another really cool ship. It was very interesting because it had been turned into a museum, and we saw a lot of neat things. The ship was used for cod fishing, even more cod, and the most famous thing it caught was cod.

Sadly, my mom has a memory of buying a favourite hat in Lunenberg. So, she sent us on a mission to find one. We went into at least 7 stores and came up short of finding a toque. I thought that maybe July was the wrong season for toque shopping. We were in our seventh store when we got a picture of mom, Janice and Tara sitting on a patio having a drink. Grrrrrrr. Why were the boys shopping when the girls were having a drink?? No fair.

We had one of the worst lunches I have ever had in my entire life. Scratch that, it was the worst lunch. The only good part was the drinks that came from a can.

We met up with mom at our new hotel in New Minas and got all set up. We have two rooms tonight!!!!

Mom told us that while she was out with Janice and Tara they went shopping, and went for a walk on a trail beside the Bay of Fundy, where they saw two bald eagles.

We then went to my Great Aunt Bev and Great Uncle Bob’s house for a delicious and amazing lobster dinner with family. Tyson and I shared a lobster and took turns cracking it open.

Brad, Janice and Tara got us some AWSOME plates to show us how to crack open and eat a lobster. They are great thanks guys.

Ty is cracking up

After supper we went for a drive, and had a drift wood campfire on a beautiful beach looking onto the ocean. We saw seals and Tyson and I ran onto the rocks. We then had smores made with chocolate chip cookies. A perfect end to a beautiful day.

Sign of the Day was found at the Speech and Language Pathologist office door by my mom.

Joke of the Day- Dad is pretty grumpy in the morning so we started calling him Cave Chris. He was tired after the campfire so he became Cave Chris on the drive back to our hotel. This is a small example of Cave Chris.

Max- “Cave Chris, what is a potato?”

Cave Chris- “Apple from ground.”

Max- “What is an apple?”

Cave Chris- “Potato from Tree.”

Tyson- “Cave Chris, what is a cave?”

Cave Chris- “Rock with hole. Rock Smash. Ha ha.”

Cathy “Cave Chris, can you tell a joke?”

Cave Chris- “Rock Smash. Ha ha ha haha haha ha ha ha hah” (Five more minutes of cave man laughing).
