Saskatoon to Edmonton

A bit of a shorter day only 524KM and 5 hours of driving, look out mall here come the Mogwells.

Max’s third new province in as many days, and he saw his first Prairie Dog. Finally- some wildlife!  We went through the border town of Lloydminster as we entered Alberta and as much as Max enjoys entering new territory, he also seemed to enjoy being in two provinces at once.

We planned this trip for over a year- intending to go to the mall the whole time because Max really wanted to see it. And yet- we didn’t realize until yesterday that our one day in Edmonton is a statutory holiday. Opps!!!!  Good news- the Mall was still open until 6pm.  We had time for; mini-golf, house of mirrors, seal show, virtual reality experience, cinnibuns and shopping! Max picked himself up a very unique toy- it’s called a fidget spinner. (insert eye roll). He also got himself a star wars wallet and Max and I got awesome hats. Chris is not much of a shopper, but he was with us for all 7070 mall steps.

We topped off our day with the Olive Garden!! So yummy!
