Our hotel room in Moncton was overlooking this amazing park, so the boys had a game of chess before we hit the road for Halifax.

It was a nice drive, the highlights being the adults winning road trip bingo, and the start of our second audio book (another Artimus Fowl book). We also drove by a town named Sackville, which Tyson found hysterical.

Our hotel is beautiful! For the first time in my life I am somewhere fancy enough to have a valet who brought up our luggage. As soon as he left our room Max and I high fived in celebration. Also, thanks for loaning me the money to tip him Tyson!

We went for a walk on the harbour, eating fish and chips on the pier for lunch and I found a rum cake store and we saw a movie being filmed. It is called “Captive”, and we got to walk down the street where it is being filmed.

The kids were worn out so they had some down time in the hotel while Chris and I had a drink in the hotel bar. Ahhhh. It was so peaceful and relaxing.

We went for a swim and hot tub and by then we were all so tired we ordered room service, which was very exciting- and Chris hooked up his iPad to the TV and we watched Spiderman- Homecoming.

We got the room service bill and couldn’t afford it, so this was the consequence….

Quote of the Day- “The bed is smaller, you need to sleep butt to butt.”

Low moment – At the end of the day when Chris pointed out the shirt I had been wearing all day was inside out. 🙁
