On the road again….

Chris and I were so excited to get out and see some more of this beautiful county we accidentally left home while the boys were still in the house! Opps. We saw them running behind us so we stopped to let them in, perhaps our first mistake of the trip….

PANIC!

That is right- boys… plural! We have a stow-away for this trip. We wanted to make this trip extra special and memorable so we brought along our God-Son, Ty. We asked him what he wanted to share to introduce himself, and the only thing he really wanted everyone to know is that he isn’t a Mogwell. Hmmm. Not sure how we Mogwell’s should take that… We will also share that he is 9 years old, he likes to floss (the dance, not the oral hygiene) and he can solve the rubix cube in 1 minute and 50 seconds!

Today was spent in the car. A bit long and boring but we survived. We passed the time with road trip bingo. It included things like road kill and port-a-potty’s, and the hardest to find item was actually a tow truck. Ty brought some trivia questions, and Chris knew the exact release dates for a bunch of movies- including non star-wars movies, but I was the winner- I’m quick with the buzzer. Everyone seems to be arguing that I am not the winner, but I am typing right now so I get to say what ever I want. 😉

We stopped for a picnic lunch and hoped to stretch our legs, but apparently that’s not allowed in Quebec….

We have a view of the St. Lawerence from our hotel room and the boys went for a pre-dinner swim. We went out for a delicious late dinner, Chris said that St. Hubbert was the place to be, and he was right!

Song of the Day- Bud the Spud.

Quote of the day- “We should stop trying to speak French, because we aren’t getting any better.” Author- Ty.

Food of the Day- Poutine. Obviously

Sign of the Day

We are off to sleep! More tomorrow. 🙂
